KAZAN, Russia, Aug. 22 (Xinhua) -- A Chinese delegation of 63 players will participate in the 45th World Skills competition, which kicked off here on Thursday.
The Chinese players are scheduled to take part in all 56 games in six fields, including transportation and logistics, structure and architechture, manufacturing and engineering, information and communication, creative arts and fashion, as well as public social and personal services.
This is the fifth time for China to attend the World Skills championship.
A total of 1,355 players from 69 countries and regions will attend the international event with the assistance of 1,304 referees and 394 interpretors from non-English speaking countries.
The games will run through Tuesday.
