BEIJING, Aug. 7 (Xinhua) -- A few weeks ahead of the FIBA Basketball World Cup, China national men's basketball team announced the temporary leave of Chen Linjian, Hu Jinqiu and Wu Qian, and the return of Ren Junfei on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Ren Junfei will rejoins the team after recovering from hand injuries.

The official account of China national basketball team on Chinese social media platform Weibo, said that the rearrangement was made after consideration of the warm-up conditions and the upcoming FIBA World Cup matches.

Li Nan, China's head coach, said it was difficult to make the decision to remove the three players from the team on a temporary basis, saying that their skills, styles of play and team spirit are admirable.
Following are the 14 members of the national men's basketball team who will remain in the squad for the World Cup: Guo Ailun, Zhao Rui, Zhao Jiwei, Sun Minghui, Fang Shuo, Zhai Xiaochuan, Kelanbaike, Abudushalamu, Zhou Peng, Ren Junfei, Shen Zijie, Zhou Qi, Wang Zhelin and Yi Jianlian.
