SUVA, Aug. 3 (Xinhua) -- A body was found on Saturday in Fiji after a medical helicopter crashed in northern Fiji on Friday night.
According to Fiji Broadcasting Corporation on Saturday, the four-seater white Robinson R44 helicopter was on a medical evacuation mission from Naitauba island in eastern Fiji and was returning to the Labasa hospital in the northern island of Vanua Levu with three people on board but failed to arrive at the destination.
The helicopter went down in Natewa Bay, Vanua Levu.
The report said the three people include a two-year-old child with the mother without providing the details about the body. Some debris from the helicopter was also found along the shores of Natewa Bay.
The air and ground search teams from the Fijian military, police force and villagers are continuing to search.
