5,050 fresh cases of dengue reported in Bangladesh capital Dhaka

(190724) -- DHAKA, July 24, 2019 (Xinhua) -- A hospital is swamped with patients suffering from dengue fever in Dhaka, Bangladesh, on July 24, 2019. A total of 5,050 fresh cases of dengue were reported from Bangladesh capital Dhaka and elsewhere on the outskirts of the city so far this month, bringing the total number of confirmed cases till July 23 in the country to 7,179.
