YANGON, July 24 (Xinhua) -- Four people were killed and 35 others went missing when two vessels capsized in Ayeyarwady river in Myanmar's Magway region, according to a release from the Information Ministry on Wednesday.
About 150 people from Phayekyun village went to Kanthar village by two water vessels and both sides fought over controversial house construction issue, using weapons in Yenangyaung township on Tuesday evening.
The vessels overturned while Phayekyun villagers were trying to retreat during their fighting.
Four bodies including two women were recovered from water on Wednesday morning and others are still missing, the ministry's release said.
Search and rescue operations for the missing ones are being carried out by the regional authorities.
