BEIJING, May 28 (Xinhua) -- About 120 representatives of Chinese and foreign children and teachers will be invited to visit the International Horticultural Exhibition 2019 Beijing to celebrate International Children's Day, which falls Saturday.
The visit will be part of activities for the June 1 International Children's Forum, the China National Children's Center (CNCC), a co-sponsor of the event, announced Tuesday.
The CNCC will also work with the China Development Research Foundation and the China Education 30 Forum to hold a forum on Chinese children's development on Saturday, according to Cui Limo, an official with the center.
Cui said other activities, including a garden party featuring a music carnival, exhibitions and reading parties for children, as well as lectures on family education, will also be held between Tuesday and Sunday to mark Children's Day.
