1st LD: Israel fires missile on military site in southern Syria

DAMASCUS, May 27 (Xinhua) -- An Israeli missile targeted a military position in Syria's southern province of Quneitra on Monday, hitting a military vehicle and wounding an unspecified number of people, state news agency SANA reported.

The Israeli missile hit the Tal Al-Sha'ar area in Quneitra, which is close to the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights.

It is the latest in Israeli attacks tageting Syrian sites in Quneitra. Enditem
