PARIS, May 10 (Xinhua) -- FIFA Women's World Cup trophy is back in the host country and will begin its France tour on May 14 following its journey in each of the 24 participating sides in the 2019 edition tournament, FIFA announced on Friday.
The tour will start in Paris, where the opening match between France and South Korea will be played on June 7, and conclude in Lyon, the venue for the final on July 7. Fans throughout France have the opportunity to get close to the trophy.
For two weeks in May, the trophy will visit a number of locations including stadiums, local schools and city councils, and encounter guests including several FIFA legends.
