RABAT, May 5 (Xinhua) -- Morocco's RS Berkane advanced for the first time in their history into the final of African Confederations Cup after defeating Tunisian CS Sfaxien 3-0 in the semifinal second leg on Sunday.
The Moroccan team progressee to the final on the aggregate score of 3-2 after their 2-0 loss in the first leg last weekend.
At Berkane Municipal Stadium, Kodjo Laba gave the Moroccan team an early lead at the 8th minute from a penalty kick, before Omar Namsaoui and Issoufou Dayo added the second and third goals at the 19th and 31st minutes respectively.
In the second half, the Tunisians tried to level the score, but they were unable to translate their few goal opportunities into goals.
Last year, Berkane qualified for the quarterfinals, but they were eliminated by AS Vita Club of Congo. Enditem
