NEW YORK, April 14 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.6 jolted 34 km west of Little Sitkin Island, Alaska, at 15:30:39 GMT on Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 42.0 km, was initially determined to be at 51.889 degrees north latitude and 178.007 degrees east longitude.
