Asian beach volleyball tournament to be held in Vietnam

HO CHI MINH CITY, April 12 (Xinhua) -- Nineteen teams from 10 countries and regions will compete at an Asian women's beach volleyball tournament slated for April 19-22 in southern Vietnam's city of Can Tho.

Female players from Australia, China, Hong Kong of China, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand, Vanuatu and Vietnam will show their talent at the approaching Can Tho Asian Beach Volleyball Tour, the Vietnam Volleyball Federation announced on Friday.

Hosts Vietnam send three teams, both Hong Kong of China and Vanuatu has one team each, and the rest, two teams each.
