NANNING, March 13 (Xinhua) -- The southern Chinese city of Nanning will have more flights with Thai capital Bangkok starting March 31, when China Southern Airlines will add daily flights to the busy route.
According to Guangxi Airport Group, the airline will increase flights between the two cities from one to two return flights a day.
The new flight CZ8427 will leave Nanning at 4:55 p.m. and arrive in Bangkok at 6:20 p.m. (both local time), while CZ8428 will depart from Bangkok at 7:20 p.m. and arrive in Nanning at 10:40 p.m.
Nanning is the capital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, which borders Vietnam. Now Guangxi is connected by air with all the ten members of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), consolidating its role as the country's gateway to Southeast Asia. Enditem
