MANILA, Feb. 26 (Xinhua) -- The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has appointed Ahmed M. Saeed as vice president, the Manila-based bank announced on Tuesday.
The ADB said in a statement that Saeed will be responsible for operations in the Southeast Asia Department, the East Asia Department, and the Pacific Department.
The ADB said Saeed has experience working with many governments, central banks, finance ministries, and sovereign wealth funds on a broad range of economic and financial issues.
Established in 1966, ADB now is owned by 67 members.
