YANGON, Jan. 31 (Xinhua) -- Another 83 illegal Myanmar migrant workers have been repatriated to homeland under the arrangement of the two countries' authorities, the official Global New Light of Myanmar reported Thursday.
The Myanmar migrant workers with expired border passes returned to Kawthoung, Kayin state, by boat on Tuesday from where authorities will send them back homes respectively.
Most of the migrant workers are from Tanintharyi, Yangon, Bago and Ayayawaddy regions and Mon and Rakhine states.
So far, a total 816 illegal Myanmar migrant workers have been repatriated to Myanmar from Thailand, the report added.
