MADRID, Jan. 19 (Xinhua) -- Casemiro's long-range strike and Luka Modric's late goal helped Real Madrid score a 2-0 win over Sevilla at Spanish La Liga here on Saturday.
Real Madrid didn't took the lead until the 78th minute as Casemiro's shot outside the area was too powerful for Sevilla's goalkeeper Tomas Vaclik. Modric's injury-time finish settled the tone between the third against fourth as Madrid climbed to third on 36 points, three ahead of Sevilla.
In the other two games, Atletico Madrid eased past Huesca 3-0 and Valencia defeated Celta Vigo 2-1.
