SKOPJE, Jan. 2 (Xinhua) -- The Macedonian Health Ministry confirmed on Wednesday that there is an outbreak of measles in the capital of Skopje.
According to the ministry, there are 12 new cases of measles registered till now, all not vaccinated against the disease.
Macedonian Health Minister Venko Filipce told the media in a news conference about the 12 cases and recommended parents to take necessary measures to vaccinate their children against measles, mumps and rubella and ban unvaccinated children to go to kindergarten.
