YANGON, Dec. 23 (Xinhua) -- Five people were killed and 18 others injured in a car crash in Myanmar's Chin state, said a release from the Home Affairs Ministry on Sunday.
The crash took place in Hakha township on Saturday.
With 23 people aboard, a six-wheeled truck lost control and fell steep into a nearby ravine at a depth of 183 meters near the milepost 41/2-3 on Hakha-Gangaw road at 1:00 p.m. local time on Saturday.
The injured were brought to the Hakha General Hospital for treatment.
