BEIJING, Dec. 2 (Xinhua) -- A winter season exhibition of films portraying diverse lives of Chinese people is being held in 10 cities across China, according to its organizer China Film Archive (CFA).
From Nov. 30 to Dec. 10, the exhibition will present 11 films exploring Chinese individuals' mentalities across different regions and groups as well as the theme of human nature.
The opening film featured director Ye Jiangtian's work, adapted from a drama that reflects life in "urban villages" and the concluding film will be one that tells the story of a middle-aged man searching for his long lost lover back in his hometown, rendered with 3D techniques and long shot.
Other films in the exhibition will touch upon various subjects such as an ordinary women's psychological world, a border policeman's story, and a young man's nostalgia for the Yellow River, CFA said.
The exhibition will be held in cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Chengdu, Wuhan, Xi'an, and Jinan.
