ISTANBUL, Nov. 10 (Xinhua) -- The 37th International Istanbul Book Fair kicked off in Istanbul on Saturday, drawing publishers from China and other countries.
The Chinese delegates joined the fair for the sixth time, bringing with them some 800 books in seven categories, including those by Chinese President Xi Jinping on the governance of China and books on China's development path and values, and books for learners of the Chinese language in Turkey.
Chinese and Turkish publishers are set to discuss cooperation, exchanges and copyright trade during the fair.
The Istanbul book fair, which started in the 1980s, has become one of the largest in the region.
