YANGON, Aug. 28 (Xinhua) -- A slight earthquake measuring 4.0 magnitude on the Richter scale Tuesday jolted Myanmar's Sagaing region, said a release from the meteorology and hydrology department.
The quake struck at 10:55:31 a.m. local time (042531 GMT).
Its epicenter was 19 kms northwest of Paungbyin township and 46.7 kms southeast of Tamu seismological observatory in the region.
No further details is reported so far.
