CHANGSHA, July 4 (Xinhua) -- Police in central China's Hunan Province arrested nine tomb raiders and confiscated several stolen cultural relics, local police announced on Wednesday.
Police in Changsha county caught a group of tomb robbers in April, and evidence of the case led to another group of tomb raiders involved in several tomb robbing cases since 2016.
The gang was caught on June 27 after two months of investigation, with several stolen cultural relics and metal detectors seized, police said.
The case is under further investigation.
