PYONGYANG, June 7 (Xinhua) -- Singaporean Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan arrived here Thursday, according to Korean Central News Agency.
The visit comes days ahead of a historic summit between the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) and the United States to be held in the city state.
DPRK top leader Kim Jong Un will meet U.S. President Donald Trump on June 12 in Singapore, the first summit between the two countries since the end of the 1950-53 Korean War.
Balakrishnan is expected to meet with Kim on Friday. No details about the visit have been revealed.
