SHENZHEN, China, June 3 (Xinhua) -- Wang Manyu won the successive win in ITTF world tour China Open on Sunday, after reigning in Hong Kong Open last week.
In the women's singles final, Wang took the title after beating her teammate Ding Ning in 7 full games: 13-11, 9-11, 9-11, 11-9, 11-8, 9-11, 11-5.
"Facing the challenge of young generation is quite normal for athletes. China has many outstanding players, I had the same experience too," said the grand slam winner.
"I have won all the big titles. I have also fulfilled my dreams. Those young players compete with me with no fears, I hope to improve myself and compete with those young guys on higher level," said Ding.
"It's a difficult match. I got some injuries and was exhausted, but tonight I overcame it with belief," said Wang.
