GAZA, April 12 (Xinhua) -- A Palestinian man was shot dead on Thursday by Israeli gunfire during clashes between Palestinian demonstrators and Israeli troops east of the southern Gaza Strip city of Khan Younis, medical sources said.
The Palestinian man, identified as 28-year-old Mohamed al-Shuhri from Khan Younis, was shot in his chest in the afternoon, and died of his wounds later in the evening, the Gaza health ministry said in a short text message to reporters.
Since the beginning of the six-week anti-Israel rally on March 30, 32 Palestinians, including a journalist and two children, have been killed and more than 3,000 others injured, according to official medical figures.
