BEIJING, April 12 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Vice Premier Sun Chunlan met in Beijing on Thursday with chairman of the Blackstone Group Stephen Schwarzman.
Sun said China-U.S. education cooperation has made progress in recent years and China's construction of world-class universities and first-class subjects has provide broad space for cooperation between the two countries.
Sun fully recognized the achievement of the Schwarzman Scholars program of Tsinghua University and hopes that the program will facilitate China-U.S. education exchange and make contributions to a healthy and stable China-U.S. ties.
