RAMALLAH, April 9 (Xinhua) -- A Palestinian young man, who was shot and critically wounded Sunday by Israeli gunfire, died of his wounds on Monday, medical sources said.
Mohamed Marshoud, a 30-year-old resident of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, died of his wounds on Monday afternoon in an Israeli hospital, the Palestinian corporation for prisoners' affairs said in an official statement.
Israel said he was shot after trying to stab an Israeli settler near a Jewish settlement east of the city of Jerusalem.
