JERUSALEM, March 19 (Xinhua) -- Israeli forces were prepared to demolish the home of a Palestinian in West Bank who killed an Israeli man in East Jerusalem before being shot dead, a military spokesperson said Monday.
"Following the stabbing attack yesterday in Jerusalem, troops surveyed the terrorist's house in Aqraba before demolition," the spokesperson said in a statement.
"In addition, the terrorist's family members were questioned," the statement added.
On Sunday afternoon, 28-year-old Abdul Rahmani Faddal stabbed Adiel Kolman in East Jerusalem's Old City before he was shot dead by police officers.
Kolman succumbed to his wounds a few hours later in a Jerusalem's hospital.
Kolman, 32, was a resident of the West Bank settlement of Kokhav Hashahar and a father of four children.
The incident came two days after a car-ramming attack by a Palestinian man near Jenin in the northern West Bank, where the army said two Israeli soldiers were killed and two others injured.
