THE HAUGE, Jan. 26 (Xinhua) -- Several shots were fired and several people were injured in a shooting incident on Friday evening at Grote Wittenburgerstraat in the Dutch city of Amsterdam, police said.
The location has been cordoned off and an investigation has been started. "More info will follow as soon as possible," Amsterdam police said on twitter.
Grote Wittenburgerstraat is in Centrum Oost of Amsterdam. The street is some 20 minutes' walk to the east of the central station. Enditem
