ULAN BATOR, Nov. 17 (Xinhua) -- Mongolia's coal exports in the first ten months of the year totaled 31.3 million tons, up 10 percent year on year, official statistics showed Saturday.
The coal exports are worth 2.4 billion U.S. dollars, the National Statistics Office said.
Coal, which has been one of Mongolia's main exports, accounted for 41 percent of Mongolia's total exports in the period.
The landlocked country exported 33.3 million tons of coal in 2017 and has set a goal to increase its coal exports to 40 million tons in the coming years.
