ISLAMABAD, July 12 (Xinhua) -- At least five people were killed and several others injured when a landslide hit a passenger van in Pakistan-controlled Kashmir on Thursday, local reports said.
The passenger van was on its way to the country's east Punjab province when it met the accident in Kotli area of the region.
The injured people and the bodies were shifted to a nearby hospital where two of the wounded passengers were said to be in critical condition.
The landslide temporarily blocked the main highway, but rescue teams cleared the road to restore the normal flow of traffic after a few hours.
