HOUSTON, June 26 (Xinhua) -- One construction worker was killed and 12 others injured in an explosion Tuesday afternoon at a hospital in Gatesville, about 325 km northwest of downtown Houston, Texas, the United States.

According to local police, the victims in the blast are all construction workers, but the cause of the explosion was not immediately known.

The explosion erupted at Coryell Memorial Hospital in Gatesville, a town of nearly 12,500 people.
