LOS ANGELES, May 11 (Xinhua) -- A high school located in Palmdale, U.S. state of California was on lockdown after reports of shooting, local media reported on Friday.

Media reports said at least one person was wounded by a man with a gun in Highland High School. Local police have responded to the report at around 7 a.m. local time (2300 GMT) but did not confirm the shooting yet.
