BRUSSELS, April 18 (Xinhua) -- The revised eurozone annual inflation was 1.3 percent in March 2018, up from 1.1 percent in February, according to figures published Wednesday by Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union (EU).
On April 4, Eurostat issued a flash estimate of 1.4 percent for the euro area's March inflation.
Wednesday's Eurostat data also showed that in the 28-country EU bloc, inflation was 1.5 percent in March 2018, up from 1.4 percent of the previous month.
Among all EU member states, the highest rate in March was recorded in Romania (4.0 percent), followed by Estonia (2.9 percent), Slovakia and Lithuania (both 2.5 percent), while the lowest annual rate was registered in Cyprus, minus 0.4 percent. Greece, 0.2 percent, and Denmark, 0.4 percent were also among the low.
