SAN FRANCISCO, March 14 (Xinhua) -- U.S. aerospace giant Boeing Company announced Wednesday that it has won a five-year contract to modernize the logistics and business system of Qatar Armed Forces through its subsidiary unit.
Boeing said that California-based Tapestry Solutions, Inc., a business unit of Boeing Global Services, will implement an advanced Enterprise Resource Planning/Logistics Management Information System (ERP/LMIS) for the Qatar Armed Forces that will maximize the troops' readiness on land, air and sea.
Robin Wright, president and CEO of Tapestry Solutions, said his company will provide Qatar Armed Forces with "a world-class enterprise-level software suite -- a comprehensive, end-to-end platform that adapts to support the growth and sustainment of Qatar's force modernization efforts."
